IP Solutions
AGE has trained staff that have the ability to fit and commission IP systems. A correct IP based system can
have many advantages over a standard system, namely image quality and scalability.
Access Solutions
AGE supply, install and maintain a multitude of access control equipment from simple standalone units to large
fully monitored systems. Combined with CCTV and/or other disciplines it is possible to meet any building management
requirements.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition
AGE has been involved with ANPR since the birth of the technology. We have a very close relationship with various ANPR providers and consider
ourselves highly experienced in this field. We are approaching 200 installations in BP sites alone across the country and are a forerunner in
Petrol Forecourt ANPR.
We can offer many solutions both as stand alone or sites communicating together via a central Database. This technology can make for an extremely powerful crime reduction tool.
Covert Systems
AGE have a long-standing tradition of catching criminals. Many of these have been convicted by Video evidence
captured from one of our covert installations. We survey the site, install the correct hidden equipment and the
criminals do the rest. These systems are normally leased and costs include Equipment/Installation and Removal.
Services
Technical Consultancy
With the experience gained within the industry AGE have the support to offer customers concerning any
CCTV product. Specifications can be provided to aid the selection of the products to suit the end users
criteria. This combined with demonstrations before selection helps to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Security System Design
On contact with the customer and deciding which site the equipment is destined for, AGE will provide an
in-depth survey of the site available in many drawing formats. We then make recommendations as to the
optimal specification and layout of the equipment at the site. This equipment can then be demonstrated if
necessary.
Project Management
AGE have the ability to offer a full project management team for large or multiple installations. This
team have a wide range of skills from senior engineering staff to project managers, CAD specialists and
Equipment specialists. We can also arrange electrical and civil contracts management where necessary.
Installation and Commission
From planning through to completion AGE utilise a highly skilled engineering team trained in the multiple
facets and elements of security projects. This makes for a smooth, trouble-free install for our customers. To
complete the package AGE provide a full hand-over document, compiled by the knowledgeable commissioning
engineer, to meet the customer requirements.
Asset Documentation
AGE have a new database solution to store unlimited site information. It can show all warranty items linked to
each part at each site. This ensures the customer is given up to date warranty information.
Also the database can hold individual item conditions that can help the customer to budget for maintaining
their CCTV estate. This also allows AGE to view equipment and provide the engineer with the correct item to
replace, thus making more first time fixes possible. This system is supported ensuring all data is safe
and protected.
System Maintenance
Linked closely to the database we can offer a service package to suit each individual needs. We have a dedicated
service team that services and maintains the whole of the UK. We perform once or twice yearly services making sure
that the sites system is always recording to the best of its ability. The system is thoroughly cleaned and tested
and all cameras refocused where required. We can grade all the equipment on site and mark its condition on our
database, this enables the client to see the condition and budget for the estate accordingly. Again we check
equipment against serial number to check warranty information.
If there are new-staff at the site then we would be only too happy to provide basic training on the system.
Critical Failure Support
With the introduction of Digital CCTV recording to hard drives it is crucial that the products are supported. When
a site loses the use of it's digital CCTV, it not only means that the site has no CCTV covering the site, it has
no mean of viewing already recorded evidence. AGE engineers are trained in digital products and can perform
routine tasks at site. If there is a major fault then we endeavour to fit a replacement unit at the time, and
remove the unit for repair. We can then refit the repaired unit, in most cases within a week.
Short Term Hire / Lease
AGE can also provide short-term hire of equipment for special events or temporary sites.
AGE can provide competitive quotes on leasing which includes all maintenance, re-active call outs and replacement
parts as required. This can be on single cameras up to multiple sites.
